alley cat around brooklyn was the fourth in the winter borolympic series, in collaboration with deadfuckinglastnyc.
messenger and team member of dfl, josh w. took the initiative to organize this event, drawing the most amount of participants thru the series, thirty-two (32) racers on one of the warmest winter day of boroympics.
starting at the main Brooklyn Library by Prospect Park, participants had to sprint to pickup their manifests along the other end of Eastern Parkway, and what an exciting beginning to see!
It wasn’t long after an hour we saw results pulling up to the finish of East River Bar. Keeping in the lead, Dane arrived first place, following Andrew coming five minutes after, remaining second in the leaderboard, then Noah third place, first outta towner, from Philly! We soon after had Orchid pull up, first femme, fifth overall, and second outta towner, repping philly bma and top of the femme leaderboard, Amelia second femme, and Tracey taking third place femme.
