Another year, another Cranksgiving for the books.

This year the weather was just about the same as last year…BRICK! That didn’t stop racers from showing up for the 25th annual Cranksgiving. We had veteran racers, first timers, out-of-towners, festive turkey hats and plenty of smiles come together for a great cause. Thanks to everyone’s efforts we raised over $750 in food and hygiene products for the Bowery Mission with additional donations left at local community fridges.

We’d like to thank all the sponsors involved for their contributions towards our racers. Thomson provided generous gift certificates for winners and a stunning custom bag designed by cargowerk. Stephen of pnx.bags made NYC a stop on a cross country tour to take part in the race, as well as contributing prizes. Thank you to mer for always having our back. asssavers provided amazing Cranksgiving fenders. chrome industries and kryptonite lock sent over care packages to distribute to our lucky racers. As always Manhattan portage bags, one of our biggest supporters, made sure racers took home some of their amazing gear. We’re also lucky to have bicycle habitat back again this year showing their ongoing support. A legend in the NYC cycling community, echelon cycles hopped on as a sponsor and provided some fantastic prizes.
A special shout out to bowery mission and its amazing staff for working with us, accepting our donations, and letting us use the chapel for our award ceremony. We’re honored to host this race yet again and we can’t wait to see you all for the next one!
