Another hot fourth of july, starting uptown and ending in the heart of downtown manhattan. thirteen mile sprint across the island, this year sharing the weekend with warriors fun ride. we had a slightly overwhelming crew of volunteers at each checkpoint, some four to 10 people working at every checkpoint, more or less for warriors points. forty-one registered racers with five femme participating. frannco takes the ‘w’ this year at an astonishing 40 minutes of bolting, after having placed top ten in the last few bombing down broadway races. reecan takes the ‘w’ in the femme category. the bma made sure to supply hydration with cool water at the finish to all racers and volunteers that helped.

the weekend was a blast, and we thank each and every one that made their presence, and hope everyone had a safe, fun weekend.
